KS RESIDENCE | Kfarhbab, Lebanon
Interior Design
Type: Residential
Status: In progress
Kfahbab is a village north of Beirut, quiet and unhurried. This apartment, designed for a couple, takes its cue from that quality. There is no urgency here, no desire to impress. Just a careful, honest interior that feels right to live in.
The apartment is organised into distinct rooms, each with its own character and purpose. Rather than dissolving boundaries in favour of openness, the design respects the separateness of spaces, allowing each room to be fully itself. A place to retreat to, not just pass through.
Natural materials run throughout. Wood and stone bring warmth and weight, grounding the interior in something tactile and enduring. Custom joinery gives each room its quiet backbone, built-in elements that feel native to the space and serve the couple without announcing themselves. Soft furnishings layer in comfort and intimacy, completing rooms that invite you to slow down and stay.
The palette and the mood feel at home in the mountains. Nothing forced, nothing superfluous. An interior that belongs where it is.
