ABOUT

Elias Soueidi is a Beirut-born, Dubai-based architect and designer working at the intersection of space, memory, and material culture.

Trained between Beirut and Paris, at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik and the École Spéciale d'Architecture, he has spent his career questioning how the built environment shapes not just how we live, but how we remember. His early work was informed by growing up in Lebanon during the Civil War: a direct encounter with how architecture holds identity, and how its destruction erases it.

That question, what remains when a building is gone, has never left him. It drove his research into the memory embedded in existing structures, his experimentation with algorithms and systems as design tools, and ultimately his award-winning project Ruin To Reality: a VR application reconstructing destroyed heritage sites, recognised at Dubai Design Week with the Audi Innovation Award.

Years of practice in Beirut first, then in Dubai, have shaped his architectural sensibility in distinct ways. Beirut taught him to read a city's wounds and its resilience, to find meaning in what survives. Dubai taught him to work with ambition and urgency, in one of the most restless built environments on earth, where the relationship between identity and place is still being written.

Today, Elias Soueidi Studio brings that same rigour and sensibility to residential and architectural design. Each project begins with a precise understanding of place, material, and sequence, and ends with spaces that feel both considered and alive.
