AH RESIDENCE | Beirut, Lebanon
Interior Design

Type: Residential

Status: Built

This apartment in Beirut was designed for a young couple starting out. The brief called for something fresh, unencumbered, and full of light. A home that feels like the beginning of something.

The layout is open plan, allowing the living, dining, and kitchen spaces to breathe together and move freely between them. Pale tones run throughout, keeping the atmosphere light and airy without feeling empty. Natural materials ground the design: wood and stone bring warmth and texture, preventing the lightness from becoming cold.

Custom joinery gives the apartment its quiet character. Built-in elements were designed to feel native to the space, never imposed, while soft furnishings add layers of comfort that make the openness feel inhabited and personal.

There is something in the palette and the mood that nods to Lebanon without quoting it directly. A certain quality of light, a warmth in the materials, a generosity in the proportions that feels native to the place.

The result is a home that is simple, considered, and genuinely joyful to be in.
