The Scouting movement targets young boys and girls, educates them and prepares them for the outside world.

The program's complexity was to allow each unit to access its own space without overlapping with the others. Modularity was used to offer the flexibility of entering and expanding several units within the different levels of the project.

The outdoor stairs split the volume into two and acts as a rural connection allowing generous circulation but also gatherings and seating.

In response to the site's boundaries and level difference, the project creates the link between the road level and the lowest point of the land. At the first level, four equally divided units are accessed through the outdoor staircase. Every unit has the possibility of expanding towards its adjacent neighbor. The lower level has the largest area and incorporates a hall, kitchen, meeting room, storage space and bathrooms.

The project is being funded by the scouts group itself and has seen the light with the help of social communities and organizations. Children, members of the scouts group play a huge role in the construction phase and supervision as it responds directly to their needs and perceptions.
